The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen’s New Home

Today our eyes are on The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen.

The Guild moved their new headquarters to Queen Street in the heart of Lancaster’s thriving arts district.  With room for exhibition galleries, an expanded Guild store, and multiple classrooms and workshop spaces, it’s a great place to meet and network with other craftspeople or attend a show.

John A. Benigno, CAC photography teacher, will be the Photography Juror for the upcoming Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen jurying session on June 20th.  A lot of John’s work focuses on landscape and I especially love his photos of New Mexico.  I think John’s photographic techniques, perspectives and his artistic vision make him a great juror choice.

John has won a few awards himself.  John’s photograph, “Agathlán”, was recently awarded the Joanna Lightner Photography Award at the Montgomery County Guild of Professional Artists Annual Spring Juried Show, by Juror Christopher Schmidt, Gallery Director of the Schmidt-Dean Gallery in Philadelphia.
