Mixed media artist Judith Ingram was a long time member and friend of Community Arts Center. Without the benefit of a formal art school education, she achieved a national career, received numerous awards and influenced many artists.
Richard Rosenfeld, in his reflection and note of appreciation on Judith, said, “Judy’s life reflected her art. She was intensely alive, warm-hearted, inquisitive, playful and had a highly developed sense of irony. She loved to travel and collected native arts of all kinds. She had strong opinions and did not suffer fools. Thanks for sharing your journey, Judy. You make it all worthwhile.”
We’re also thankful that Judy shared her journey and you can share her journey as well by visiting JUDITH INGRAM: IN MEMORIAM, a retrospective of her works from her own collection, at The Rosenfeld Gallery from July 12, 2012 – August 05, 2012, with an opening reception on Thursday, July 12th.
