Warm Up Winter with Some Art

Looking to shake off those winter blues?  Let a little art brighten your day!  Here are some artful exhibits to check out in February and March.

In Person – a juried exhibition celebrating the human form at Community Arts Center in Wallingford, PA runs through March 1st.   Gallery hours are Mon.-Thurs. 9 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., Friday – 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Saturday – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Art is for Lovers – featuring art by James and Catherine Carney at Darley Arts Center, Claymont, DE runs through March 7th.

Then/Now – artwork by Laura Demme at Swarthmore Borough Hall, Swarthmore, PA, through March 19th with an artist’s talk on February 10th from 2 – 3 p.m.

Hearts & Flowers – floral paintings  by Elizabeth Domotor at Beauty Art, Antiques & Gifts, Newtown Square, PA, runs through March 22nd.

Catch as Catch Can – a group exhibition curated by Fionn Meade at Locks Gallery, Philadelphia, PA, runs through March 30th with an artist’s opening reception on February 13th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and performance at 6:30 p.m.

I’m lucky to have so much art in my area!  I’m gonna make a visit to at least one of these exhibits this month.  Hope you will too.
