About

Centered on Art includes thoughts and ideas centered on the arts. We believe that creativity counts for everyone, so whether you’re mastering a skill, trying to learn a new technique, or just appreciating the beauty of  a piece of artwork, we’ve designed an online forum for the discussion and debate of art, allowing everyone to get to the art of the matter.

Centered on Art is a daily blog that offers how to instructions on art techniques, interviews with or about visual artists, art fair and exhibit news, and discussions on whatever art related stories we find in the news that might be of interest to you.

Centered on Art is published by Community Arts Center, a non-profit visual arts education organization, founded in 1948 by a group of local artists.

You are invited to get to know the Community Arts Center. Visit the Arts Center in person and browse our unique, artist supported gift gallery, see several exhibits in the Center’s galleries, tour our historic facility, relax in our gardens, see artists at work, sign up for a class, attend a concert or a special workshop, volunteer, or join in our discussion here at Centered on Art . . . whatever you do, you will be welcomed.
